Goal Setting:
The girls are allowed to set whatever goal they would like! The first ‘reward’ is at 36 boxes, so they recommend at least that level for first-time sellers.

Cookie Sales:
- Girls must remain “mobile” – wagon sales door-to-door, walking around their parent’s work, etc.
- Girls are allowed to set up a table in their own front yard – but not in front of a business (without permission of the Service Unit), even if you own the business.
- Each girl can set up a website through Girl Scouts to sell online cookies
- Girls can advertise on social media only on personal pages (including parent’s accounts), but not on any group pages or Nextdoor! Please go over online safety rules with your daughter.
Booth Sales:
- 2 girls per booth and 2 adults (Dads are ok too!).
- Girls are supposed to stand (unless physically unable), be courteous and polite regardless of purchase, and only approach people as they leave the business.
- Adults are responsible for the money at the end of the day.
- Be prompt – another troop will be leaving when we arrive and a new one arriving when we’re done.
Money:
- Girl Scouts will automatically take 3 debits from our bank account, so it is important that money is turned in at least once a week so that we don’t overdraft our bank account.
- Any boxes ordered are your financial responsibility. There is no way to turn-in unsold cookies at the end (though I will happily try to organize transfers if another girl is trying to order the same type of cookie).
